Which ayanamsa and house system do you use?
Charts use the Lahiri ayanamsa with whole-sign houses, computed with high-precision geocentric ephemeris astronomy (Astronomy Engine) and cross-checked against Swiss Ephemeris output.
I don't know my exact time of birth. Can I still generate a chart?
Yes, but the Ascendant (Lagna) and house placements depend heavily on the exact time. If the time is only approximate, treat the Rashi (Moon-sign) results as more reliable than the Ascendant-based ones.
My birth place can't be found. What do I do?
Enter the latitude and longitude manually in the Coordinates field below Birth Place. Any online map can give you these for a city or town.
